My Garden Grows lesson provides a natural link between observational skills exercised in both science and art. Students will merge their observations from life experience and artwork seen in The Tiny Seed by Eric Carle about plant phases from seed to adult. Students will create their own My Garden Grows composition using collage and painting techniques.

Grade K
